I urge Denver to adopt a smoke-free restaurant ordinance.

La Taza Cafe & Market is a family restaurant which opened one year ago. We do not permit smoking, and there has been no harm to business. In fact, our customers consider it a benefit.

We are convinced that our smoke-free environment is an asset to the business, because: it is my personal preference, it smells better, and it is a healthier environment for families.

I look forward to hearing of success in creating this ordinance.
