The Colorado Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution is a 501(c)(3), statewide, nonprofit organization established in 1977. Our mission is clear: to safeguard public health by eliminating exposure to secondhand smoke in workplaces, public areas, and multiunit housing. At GASP, we believe that no individual should be subjected to breathing secondhand smoke from tobacco, marijuana, or electronic smoking devices. Your donation to GASP helps

• Educate the public about the dangers of secondhand smoke. GASP’s media campaigns reached more than 300,000 Colorado households in the last year.
• Provide resources to individuals and families impacted by secondhand smoke exposure in public places and multifamily housing.
• Work with the housing industry to implement smoke-free policies and provide valuable resources through mysmokefreehousing.org. As of today, more than 10,000 Colorado apartments and condos have implemented smoke-free policies, ensuring healthier living environments for countless residents.  GASP is also networking with housing providers through our  membership in the Colorado Apartment Association.  GASP also provides a list of apartments and condos that have smoke-free policies at mysmokefreehousing.com.
• Advocate for stronger smoke-free laws and regulations.
• Support efforts to keep young people from a lifetime of tobacco addiction.
