La Noria Carniceria: Policy Protects our Employees, Customers, and Children

Let’s adopt a smoke-free restaurant and bar ordinance in Denver.

La Noria Carniceria is a Mexican restaurant opening smoke-free four years ago. Our customers and our employees have been very happy with the decision, and anyone reluctant to go smoke-free should look at the evidence on the many tobacco education websites, such as SmokeFreeDenver.org and GASPforAir.org

Some of the reasons we are smoke-free:

** My mother suffered from smoking, and I suffered from her smoke.

** We are protecting our employees, customers and the children who come here with their families, from the obvious and well-documented hazards of second-hand smoke.

** We all feel and work better in a smoke-free workplace.

** Cost savings – clean up is much easier and our fire insurance rates are lower.
