M & D's Cafe, Denver: Policy makes for A Better Environment

M & D's Barbeque is a family restaurant. My family works here, and we are much better off not being around smoke, and so are my employees.

We opened 25 years ago. Later we converted to a smoke-free restaurant, and there was no problem with customers or business. We are creating a patio now that will allow smoking for those who care to.

Our environment is much better. There are no butts on the floor, and the ceilings are cleaner.

Let’s continue the good example that we have set here, and encourage the rest of the City’s restaurants to go smoke free.
