Pita Jungle, Denver: College Students Appreciate Our Policy

We want to see a smoke-free restaurant and bar ordinance.

Pita Jungle is a fine Middle-Eastern restaurant. Opening three years ago, we have not allowed smoking inside, and there have been no problems with customers or business.

In fact, our smoke-free environment is very good for business:

* It is unhealthy to have smoke around food.

* We get lots of DU students, so we want to set a good example.

* It is easier to clean up.

* The one remaining smoker on staff is planning to quit.
